Instructor Bio
My name is Kalen Kovitch. I am a former coach of Softball Canada's Junior & Senior Men's National teams. I also coached Team Saskatchewan Men's Softball at the 2017 Canada Summer Games. I have recently moved back to Saskatoon, and after 3 years away from coaching I am starting to get back into it this spring by offering some FREE softball skills camps. The camps will be open to U11-U13-U15 age categories. We will be accepting registrations from 25 athletes per age category. There will be a fielding camp April 12th, 2025 with focus on infield & outfield skills as well as defensive strategies. The second camp will be over 2 days on May 4th & 5th and will focus on hitting with emphasis on power and approach. Both camps will be held at the Martensville Recreation Centre. Attached you will find posters for both camps as well as a registration form. I would love for your executive to pass along the info about these camps to your athletes and families if possible. It is all good either way just let me know if it is something you are willing to do or not. I appreciate your time.
